Danqing translates directly to "red and blue-green" in Chinese, or more academically, Vermillion and Cyan. These two colors were the most common colors used in ancient Chinese paintings, and over time, Danqing has become a shorthand for Chinese paintings. This dice set is inspired by Chinese motifs, danqing and features intricate gold foil inlaid on top of an opaque ivory base, and is inked in gold numbers.
